International Day of Yoga 2022

International Yoga Day is not just a day to observe, rather the importance of Yoga in human life for being healthy and the adoption of the Indian Science in 277+ countries worldwide is the significance of the day.

The role of Yoga and Pranayam in treating the life style (Non communicable) diseases is not a secret now a days and the Govt of India is also promoting the science in a massive scale. So as the Govt of Odisha and the Dept. of Health & Family Welfare.

We at Puruna Bandhagoda HWC, organised a Yoga event at Balaram Dhir Govt High School, P B Goda with the support of the School administration in which 80+ students and 10+ teachers participated in the event. Sri Suresh Ku Bhuyan (PET), Sri Debabrata Sahu (Yoga Instructor) & Dr Asutosh Jena (AYUSH Medical Officer) conducted the event jointly. Ajay K Senapati from HWC along with other teachers of the school helped conducting the event successfully.

Apart from that, evets were also organised at Nandabar SC, Alati SC & Angarua SC with the support of existing CHOs, HW(F)s & HW(M)s. Yoga instructer Debabrata Sahu has attended all the sessions at SCs to guide the team.
